Gossip Girl Fashion: You;ve Got Yale edition

For those of you who love Gossip Girl, I have some fashion finds for you. In this week's episode, Blair wears a plaid blazer. There is one almost exactly the same at Brooks Brothers. Of course, its extremely expensive(on sale for 1749.99), but one can dream right? Hopefully I can find cheaper versions of this and I will pass it on to you.

Gossip Girl Fashion: In The Realm of the Basses

Tonight's Gossip Girl was amazing, and their fashions were as well. So of course, I have to post pictures of them. Later this week I may post a how to for these looks. For now, enjoy the pics

I LOVE everything Blair wears, she is my fashion idol. Above are my favorite Blair looks from tonight's episode. A simple way to get the second look is to wear a black pencil skirt, gray tights, black pumps, and a brown peacoat or cardigan. I love the ruffles on Blair's shirt in the third picture. And of course, it wouldnt be a Blair Waldorf fashion without the signature headband! When I find out the exact designers she is wearing here, I will definitely let you guysknow!

Fall 2008 Trend:Tights

Tights are all the rage right now, and a must have in every girl's closet.Turn on any episode of Gossip Girl, and your sure to see Blair Waldorf wearing a pair, be it brightly colored, black, or even fishnet. It's the main fashion accessry in her wardrobe(besides the headband of course).

You can wear tights with pretty much anything, from skirts and dresses to long tunics. Just look at these images from Gossip Girl above for inspiration.


Who knew tights could be so versatile?

My favorite tights are black, these are a staple in any tights wardrobe. From there, you can add a pair of white, and maybe even a gray. After you have those basics, feel free to go crazy! You can get tights in any color imaginable, from neon pink and green, to blues, reds, oranges, purples, and even yellow! The sky is the limit when it comes to tights colors.

If you're on a budget, like I am, you can get some cute tights at Target.com or Kohls. J.C. Penny has some nice ones for a good price too.



Tights are definitely a fashion must have, and one of the most creative items of clothing a girl can have.
